We really enjoyed our stay! We stayed in room 101 (shared bathroom). The room and bathroom were very clean. We didn’t need to use the shared spaces but they seemed also clean and welcoming. The self check in was also very convenient.

The view here is beautiful near the roaring stream. The bed was very comfy and the room had air conditioning, everything was very clean and the kitchen is very spacious with anything you could need. The doors are quite heavy throughout the hostel and I wish there was a place to put your cosmetics in the shared bathroom's shower, but other than that it was a perfect stay and very close to local tourist areas like Petit-Saguenay, would recommend and would stay again.

We booked a room for the night and the bed was super comfortable. The room was tiny and we had a shared bath which wasn’t a problem . Breakfast was a self serve in a well stocked kitchen. The hotel was clean and there was a babbling brook under our bedroom window. The room was very hot with only one small screened window area and no air conditioner or fan. I would double check with the host if you’re traveling in Summer to make sure you get a room with air conditioning or a fan. The price was very reasonable and perhaps that was why.

Our recent stay at Auberge Du Dimanche was absolutely wonderful! We spent four days and three nights there and was thoroughly impressed. The room was clean and spacious, featuring a comfortable double bed, an extra bed, and a private bathroom. The breakfasts were delicious, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch. The staff was incredibly helpful. If we ever find ourself in the area again, we couldn't hesitate to book another stay at there. Highly recommended!

It was a very nice stay at the end after the miscommunication from the beginning. It needs a better attention to emails with instructions and the emergency phone calls should be taken instead of got thru messages. But overall the renovations done to this building are really nice , building is good for large groups of friends want to share kitchen, dining balcony. No TV in the room makes you selective when you get to this hotel … A good motel for a short stop, passing thru the beautiful areas .

Great location, cozy rooms, the sheets and bed are sooo comfortable. Some rooms don’t have their own bathroom but most do so just probably depends on which one you pick. The kitchen is fully stocked and beautiful so you can make amazing meals while you are here. The grocery store for the area is right in the same parking lot. For the price and access to Sepaq and this beautiful area, it really is a steal!

Our overall experience was very good, but it's important to note that this is a fully autonomous setup. There is no one to physically talk to on site at all. Although there was a communication feed, it felt like different staff were responding to messages, and a few of our questions went unanswered. But nothing major. The place was very clean, and the kitchen was well-equipped for making our evening meals. The DIY breakfast included was substantial, but it was challenging to prepare breakfast with the number of people trying to do the same. The kitchen space can only comfortably accommodate three people making breakfast at once. The proximity to the parks was great, though it was a bit hard to gauge from the listing—it sits right on Highway 170. Although it's not a major highway, there were quite a few transport trucks passing by at all times of the day.

A self serve and check in hostel. I had a private bathroom (room 202) with a tiny shower, ladies, shave before coming or else major acrobatics will be required to get to those hard to reach places. I wish they had a shelf to put your toiletries, it could easily be added above the toilet. All my stuff kept falling into the sink. I was there for 5 days so I had to leave my stuff out. The AC worked well, lots of hooks to hang your coats, Nespresso machine with 2 coffees. There should be a long bar to hang your towels in bathroom, there is an empty wall so there is place for it or else the towel doesn't dry if its hanging on a hook all the way in the corner. Kitchen is beautiful with knives, cutting boards, dishes, coffee, tea, you get 2 eggs to make your breakfast, peanut butter, bread. I brought my own meat and veggies and added to the omlette. You put your stuff in the full size fridge provided for the guests. I was able to hear people using the toilet in room 201 but the walls are so thick I never heard them talking, also I heard people walking above me but never talking which was amazing, nothing worse than hearing people's chatter. Bring an extension cord, the power plugs are across the room and not close to the bed where I would have liked them to be. There is AC in the shared room, couches and a TV. Comfortable to lounge in after supper. No TV in your room so bring your tablet. The Fjord park is across the street, there is no gate so you can enter even before it officially opens to start the hikes like I did since I'm an early riser and pay the 10$ fee later. Be careful the porcupine likes to wonder the streets early in the morning. The market on site is like a depanneur with prices to reflect a small place, i recommend buying your groceries in town. There is snack and ice ream trucks on site. Its not quite outside, you are on the main artery. There is no staff on site but I never had the need since all that you need is provided. The place is clean, spotless, smells good and has comfortable bed and pillows, all that one really needs. The code to get into the main door and your rooms is provided in the confirmation email and in the reminder email, keep them handy.
